About

978 Live is a hyper-local media project documenting life, arts and culture across Greater Lowell, Massachusetts.

We cover festivals and community gatherings, local concerts and hip-hop showcases, cultural performances, and the mill buildings, canals and landmarks that make Lowell the Mill City. We're an inclusive, LGBTQ+-friendly space that champions grassroots arts, local businesses and everything happening in the 978.

We also publish The Lowell Weekender, a free weekly guide to what's on around town.
